He's Here

Greg here posting for a resting Alicia. We are happy to announce that Burke was born today at 1143 AM. He weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs 11 ozs. He is 19 inches long and is doing well. He had some initial breathing issues, but worked through them and is now doing fine. Alicia is also doing very well. She is a little tired and sore, but overall, doing well. We want to thank everyone that has been praying for Alicia and Burke. God has blessed us with a beautiful son that is doing very well. Here are some pictures for those of you anxious to see him.

Burke is absolutely wonderful and perfect!!!!! What a glorious gift from God to two such fabulous parents! Burke is adorable, beautiful, awesome . . . . I could go on and on! I thought April 1 was a good time to visit, but now that Burke is hear, April 1st seems like years away. I just want to meet Burke, hold him and hug his dear Mommy and Daddy!

Great news - I've been waiting all day! Thanks for the post, Greg! I'm glad to hear that Burke is doing better with his breathing (both of my C-section with no labor boys had some minor NICU breathing stays before joining me in my room - I think it must have something to do with fluids and mucus not being squeezed out of them!). Alicia looks great!

Congrats! Burke is beautiful. I am so happy for y'all. Brett was a c-section baby and had breathing problems too- also in the NICU. He is one big bundle of energy now though. I can't wait until we can see our boys with their sisters!
